Gov. Migz Villafuerte Intercollegiate and Open Sepaktakraw Championships Provincial Sepaktakraw Ranking Games Miguel “Migz” Villafuerte will spearhead a GOV.

The Bicol Enthusiasts Sepaktakraw Group – the Regional Chapter of Philippine Amateur Sepaktakraw Association in the Bicol Region in partnership with the Philippine Amateur Sepaktakraw Association, the Referees Association of the Philippines and the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur headed by our Gov. MIGZ VILLAFUERTE INTERCOLLEGIATE AND OPEN SEPAKTAKRAW CHAMPIONSHIPS – Regu and Doubles Event

Competition which will be held this coming November – December 2013. This event is considered the FIRST EVER SEPAKTAKRTAW INTERCOLLEGIATE COMPETITION IN THE PROVINCE AND IN THE CITY AS WELL. The competition will basically provide a springboard to regenerate potential resource generations, additional sponsorship grants, and to come up with local competitions and trainings as marketing and promotion tools of the organization to help deserving but financially challenged Sepaktakraw Athletes in the province. This is also designed to come up with a strategy to further improve the performance of the athletes who might represent the province in the National and even International Sepaktakraw Competitions.

The Bicol Enthusiasts Sepaktakraw Federation is now accepting applications for new sepaktakraw athletes for Bicol State College of Applied Science and Technology. Those interested applicants may contact us for try outs and selection process. Applicants ages must be within the SCUAA age qualifying standards. Join the BISCAST Sepaktakraw Team

The entire Bicol Enthusiasts Sepaktakraw Federation announces with deep sorrow the passing of our beloved former Secretary General of Philippine Amateur Sepaktakraw Association (PASTA), Mr. Manuel G. Eslao yesterday. His remain lie in state at the Garden of Memories, Pateros. We are all grieving of your passing. We will be missing you tatay manny.

To all Bicol Enthusiasts Sepaktakraw Group members, please read this article. Sepaktakraw Sports have been mentioned as one of the sports with a weak sports development programs.

to quote: "Some associations whose weak training program is due to organizational flaws are sepak takraw, whose president is facing trial, pencak silat, which has yet to pick a successor, and equestrian, weightlifting, table tennis and sailing, whose members can be counted by the fingers for lack of player recruitment program."

As Bicolanos, let us all make a stand in supporting our National Sports Association in building up a strong foundation for our beloved sports. Take this as a challenge. As I always say, don't let your guard down... a "spikes" and "service" of challenges are coming our way...

Despite the seventh place finish, its worst ever, the Philippines finished fairly above its projection of 25 gold medals, and those who did well in Myanmar have reasons to believe a continuing sports program will make them and others competitive in next year’s Asian Games and in the SEA Games in 201...
