Para sa athletes, mahalaga ang healthy food dahil ito ang pinanggagalingan ng energy at lakas ng katawan. Kahit gaano ka pa kasipag mag-training, kung mali ang kinakain mo, bababa pa rin ang performance mo.

Healthy food tulad ng fruits, vegetables, protein, at whole grains ay tumutulong para maging mas malakas, mas mabilis, at mas active ang athletes. Ang carbohydrates nagbibigay ng energy, habang ang protein naman ay tumutulong sa muscle repair lalo na after training.
