Filled with energy, passion, and dedication, the Kalumbigan Dance Company actively participated in the Hip-Hop Workshop of the Summer Sports Camp 2026. Through the guidance of Coach Rhayan Perez, members explored various styles such as House, Amapiano, Open Style, and Vogue โ€” strengthening their creativity, versatility, and confidence as performers.

Through the initiative spearheaded by Mayor Manuel Jayr N. Zamora Jr. and the organizers behind the program, the youth of Monkayo continue to be given opportunities to grow in both sports and performing arts.

As the workshop week ends, participants now gears up for the upcoming Dance Recital next week. ๐Ÿ’œ

Kalumbigan Dance Company successfully conducted its first virtual meeting today, May 25, 2026, via Google Meet. The meeting formally started with an opening prayer led by Kyle Jaron, followed by discussions about upcoming promotional activities to strengthening the growth within the company, every voice shared reflected our dedication as one family.

As the meeting came to an end, members were reminded of the importance of discipline, participation, and unity as one organization moving with the same passion and purpose. The gathering concluded with a closing prayer led by Larry Jr. Q. Latiban. ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ’œ

Last week, members of the Kalumbigan Dance Company actively participated in the Summer Sports Camp 2026 through the events Sepak Takraw and Dance Sports.
Participants in Sepak Takraw underwent drills, ball control trainings, and various activities that enhanced their skills and teamwork, while the Dance Sports participants practiced routines from their assigned genres, proper hand and body postures, and concluded the activity with a recital presentation.
Through these experiences, every participants showcased passion, discipline, unity, and dedication both in sports and performing arts.

Grateful for the challenge and the chance to grow together. On to the next one, Kalumbigan!๐Ÿ’œ

The Asenso Summer Sports Camp 2026 officially commences today, bringing together the youth of Monkayo in a celebration of sportsmanship, discipline, talent, and camaraderie. Spearheaded by Mayor Manuel Jayr N. Zamora Jr. in partnership with Municipal Sports Coordinator and Sangguniang Bayan Member Hugh Maxuelle Zamora Apsay, the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation, and the Youth and Sports Division under the Office of the Municipal Administrator, the program continues to provide meaningful opportunities for young individuals to grow and excel in various fields of sports and performing arts.

Among the participants present are members of the Kalumbigan Dance Company, who actively took part in events such as Dancesports, Hip-hop, and Sepak Takraw, showcasing not only their athleticism and artistry, but also their dedication, teamwork, and passion for excellence.

As the camp officially opens, may this initiative continue to inspire the youth to pursue their talents, strengthen their confidence, and embody the true spirit of unity and perseverance.
