Odyssey Waves returns to Calicoan island and runs through October 8-13, 2024.

The Calicoan Odyssey Waves National Surfing Competition 2024 is brought to you by the Municipality of Guiuan in collaboration with the Province of Eastern Samar.

This event is organized by the Municipality of Guiuan together with the local surfing organizations of Calicoan Island: ABCD Surf, Calicoan Local Surfers, Samrayan Surfboards, and The Backyard Surf Co.

This competition is sanctioned by the United Philippine Surfing Association, and recognized by the Philippine Sports Commission and the POC - Philippine Olympic Committee - Olympic.PH.

This event is sponsored by 4Ps Partylist, Andok's, Sandirini Resort, Calicoan Villa, Lucky Ellie , and Fin Cafe.

This event is scheduled to take place on July 20, 2024, and is exclusive to the local surfers from Maydolong for the following divisions:

Men’s Open Longboard Division
Women’s Open Longboard Division

This is a Longboard Surf contest presented by the Committee on Tourism of Brgy. Omawas and organized by the MAPUSA Surf Club Inc. as part of the activities in celebration of the Annual Fiesta of Brgy. Omawas, Maydolong, Eastern Samar.
