SPORTS | Pagadian City is set to host this year's MASTS 2024 Games, one of the biggest intercollegiate cultural and sporting events in Mindanao.

MASTS, or the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools, shall have their next big event in Pagadian City, of which the Josefina H. Cerilles Memorial State College (JHCSC), together with the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur shall be the hosts for MASTS 2024.

MASTS 2024 shall highlight cultural and sports competitions, featuring all State Universities and Colleges (SUC) in Mindanao.

This is the second time Pagadian City hosted MASTS Games with the first one in 2015.

Davao Oriental State University (DoRSU) taken the Top 4 spot among the 22 teams that joined in the tournament. Despite the lack of preparation and training our mens basketball team still managed to climb through the roof and exceed our expectation.

Congratulations boys for your hardwork ! We are very proud of you.👏🎉

Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) advances to the semi-finals after defeating the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP).

DOrSU will face the Davao del Norte State College ( DNSC) in the semi-final round.

Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) beat J.H. Cerilles State University (JHCSC) in a close game. Both teams did their best to get the victory, but JHCSC did not last until the end.
DOrSU now has one game left to win to get the ticket to the semi-finals.
