Today, we celebrate Stacey Curata, one of our dearest Salinlahi Dance Troupe alumni and our only Elementary Salinlahi Dance Troupe alumna who continues to be very active in rehearsals and performances!

Even after graduating, Staicey never really left the DT family. She continues to show up, rehearse, perform and share her passion for dance with our younger members. Her dedication and love for the troupe are truly something to admire.

But her contribution doesn't stop at performing. She has also shared her creativity and choreography skills in HIRAYA, the recognition song performed by our JHS Honor Students. Her talent helped make the performance more meaningful and memorable.

Staicey is a beautiful reminder that being a DT member is more than just learning dance steps. It is about friendship, passion, commitment, creativity, and giving back. Once you become part of Salinlahi, you will always have a place in the family.

Today, we celebrate the birthday of one of our dear Salinlahi Dance Troupe Elementary Alumni, Althea Khezia Dela Cruz!

Althea, your journey with the Elementary Salinlahi Dance Troupe may have been a chapter from your younger years, but the memories you shared with the troupe will always remain a special part of our DT family. From rehearsals and performances to the laughter, friendships, challenges and unforgettable moments behind every dance, you became part of the story that continues to make Salinlahi more than just a dance troupe, it is a family.

Being a member of a dance troupe teaches us many things beyond dancing. It teaches discipline when we have to repeat a routine again and again, patience when things don't go as planned, teamwork when everyone has to move as one, confidence when performing in front of others, and most importantly, the value of friendship and camaraderie.

Yvonne was already part of DT back when she was in Grade 6 and for at least a year, she danced, learned, laughed and created wonderful memories with us before continuing her Junior High School journey in another school.

Even though your time with us was shorter than others, you will always be part of the Salinlahi Dance Troupe family. Your dedication, energy, and the memories you shared with us will always be remembered.

MORE THAN JUST DANCE — IT’S WHERE CONNECTIONS BEGIN!

Behind every performance of the Salinlahi Dance Troupe – JHS Department are countless rehearsals, tired bodies, repeated steps, laughter, mistakes, corrections and moments that slowly turn a group of individuals into one team.

But dancing is never just about learning choreography.

It teaches camaraderie, learning to trust, support and move with one another. It creates opportunities to socialize, make new friends, build confidence and discover the joy of belonging to something bigger than yourself.

Every rehearsal becomes a chance to communicate, cooperate, encourage one another and simply enjoy being young.

And perhaps one of the most beautiful things about dancing is that you don't just learn how to move to the music, you learn how to move together as one.

SMALL ACTS OF KINDNESS CREATE BIG Changes!

The Salinlahi Dance Troupe – Elementary Department proudly lends its voice to the DepEd Anti-Bullying Campaign, using dance as a powerful way to inspire kindness, respect and compassion among every learner.

Every smile shared, every helping hand offered, and every kind word spoken can make a difference. Through this advocacy video, we hope to remind everyone that a safe and happy school begins with each one of us choosing kindness over cruelty.

Special congratulations to our talented DT editors, Andrea and Princess Rhianna, whose creativity and dedication transformed this vision into an inspiring video that carries an important message.

We are also deeply grateful for the unwavering support and guidance of our School Principal, Dr. Eric R. Verdillo, whose commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the character of our learners continues to inspire us all.
