A huge congratulations to everyone who earned their stripes and promotions at our recent Team Fabricio Jiu-Jitsu grading day, led by Professor Stephen Kamphuis.

Every stripe and belt represents countless hours of training, perseverance, discipline, and the willingness to keep showing up even when the journey gets tough. Progress in Jiu-Jitsu isn’t measured only by victories, but by the commitment to become a little better every day.

Thank you to Professor Stephen for sharing his knowledge and guidance, and to all teammates, coaches, friends, and family members who continue to support our growth on and off the mats.

Today we celebrate achievements, but tomorrow we get back to work. Keep learning, keep evolving, and trust the process.

Promotions earned this month—well deserved. 🥋

Every new belt represents more than just skill, it reflects the time, consistency, discipline, and maturity built through every round, every struggle, and every lesson learned on the mats. Growth isn’t always visible, but it shows in how you carry yourself, how you train, and how you treat your teammates.

“Enjoy the journey. Stay humble on and off the mats.” The belt may change, but the mindset and the work behind it should always stay the same.

Thank you to our professor JP Suarez for the guidance, standards, and trust. Growth starts from the top and carries through the whole team.

To everyone who got promoted this month, we’re proud of you! Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep pushing each other to be better every day. This is only another step forward. 🔥

From the guard, control becomes the priority. With proper grips and angles, you manage distance, break balance, and slow down any passing attempts. This is where timing and sensitivity matter most, using leverage instead of strength to stay one step ahead.

In the standing exchange, grip fighting is everything. Securing the right grips allows you to control distance, disrupt posture, and dictate where the fight goes. It’s not just hand fighting, it’s strategy in motion.

In dominant positions, tight control leads to high-percentage finishes. By limiting movement and maintaining pressure, submissions become more efficient and harder to escape. It’s about precision, not force.

Different situations, different tools, but all built on the same principles: control, timing, and technique. 🥷🔥

To our RELENTLESS teammates, you went out there and fought with heart, grit, and pride AS ALWAYS AND SHOULD. A big thank you to our prof JP Suarez and coaches— Juan Fernando Michaelo Sumulong and sometimes team lead Fonz, at Outflank for the guidance, patience, and CONSTANT PUSH to be better, and to all our teammates who helped us prepare for this event, your support, rounds, and pressure made all the difference.

This journey wasn’t just about medals, it was about growth. We learned so much along the way, sharpened our skills, tested our limits, and embraced every challenge that came our way. Most of all, we truly enjoyed every experience we gained on and off the mats.

Huge thank you to everyone who showed up, trusted the process, and stepped onto the mats with us. The energy, support, and willingness to learn made every session special.

2026 Philippine Novice Championships Gi & No Gi — what a weekend. 🔥

Nothing but heart on those mats.

We had an absolute blast competing, learning, winning, losing, and growing together. Every single competitor who stepped up and fought their heart out, respect. That’s what this sport is about.

And to our teammates who represented our academy with pride, grit, and courage, Victoria Abo, Jovan Lim, Aaron Paglinawan, Rei Edil, Migs Vibal, Gerard Tinio, James, & Gerald Bautista, THANK YOU. You’re not just competing, you’re putting us on the Philippine Jiu-Jitsu map! 🇵🇭
