What a statement from Group C.

With just two matches left to wrap up the group, there was still plenty to play for. By the final whistle, Brazil and Morocco had stamped their class, while Scotland's World Cup hopes were left hanging by a thread.

🇧🇷 Brazil finished exactly where everyone expected them to—at the top. They wrapped up the group unbeaten with 7 points, edging Morocco on goal difference to claim first place and head into the knockout stage full of confidence.

🇲🇦 Morocco continued their incredible rise on the world stage. Also unbeaten with 7 points, they matched Brazil every step of the way but settled for 2nd place on goal difference. More importantly, they've booked another well-deserved spot in the Round of 32.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland fought hard but came up short. Finishing with 3 points, they end the group in 3rd place. Their journey isn't over just yet—they now have to wait and hope their tally is enough to earn a place among the tournament's best third-place teams.

🇭🇹 Haiti never stopped competing, but three tough matches ended without a point. They finish 4th in the group, bringing their World Cup campaign to an end.

Unlike Groups A and B, there was no last-minute drama at the top. Brazil and Morocco simply proved to be the class of the group from start to finish.

With just two matches left to decide everything, the final standings came down to the smallest of margins.

🇨🇭 Switzerland proved why they were the favorites. A hard-fought 2-1 win over Canada sealed top spot with 7 points, finishing unbeaten and comfortably winning the group.

🇨🇦 Canada may have lost on the final matchday, but they had already done enough. They finished with 4 points and held on to 2nd place thanks to a superior goal difference, booking their place in the knockout stage on home soil.

🇧🇦 Bosnia and Herzegovina did everything they could. Their 3-1 victory over Qatar moved them level on points with Canada, but goal difference wasn't on their side. Instead of an automatic spot, they now have to wait and hope that 4 points will be enough to see them through as one of the tournament's best third-place teams.

🇶🇦 Qatar fought until the very end, but another defeat saw them finish at the bottom of the group with just 1 point, bringing their World Cup campaign to a close.

What a dramatic finish to Group A.

With just two matches to close out the group, the standings were turned upside down.

🇲🇽 Mexico never looked back. They finished with a perfect 9 points, winning all three matches without conceding a single goal. A dominant group stage and a deserved place at the top.

🇿🇦 South Africa pulled off one of the biggest surprises of the tournament so far. They started the day at the bottom of the group but climbed all the way to 2nd place, overtaking both South Korea and Czechia to secure an automatic spot in the knockout stage.

🇰🇷 South Korea suffered the heartbreak of the day. Their defeat saw them slip from the automatic qualification spots down to 3rd place. Their World Cup hopes aren't over, but they now have to wait and see if 3 points will be enough to advance as one of the tournament's best third-place teams.

🇨🇿 Czechia also had everything to play for, but a heavy loss to Mexico sent them to the bottom of the group, bringing their World Cup campaign to an end.
