The 1st MASA Cup Badminton Tournament came to a close on August 8–9, 2026, at Pawa Covered Court, Brgy. Pawa, Manito, Albay, bringing together badminton players who battled through intense rallies, strategic plays, and closely contested matches across three competitive categories.

With every serve, smash, drop shot, and defensive return, players fought to secure their place on the podium, showcasing not only their skills and determination but also the sportsmanship and competitive spirit that defined the two-day tournament.

After a series of hard-fought matches, the following players and pairs emerged as the top placers of the 1st MASA Cup Badminton Tournament:

SINGLES — WOMEN
🏆 Champion — Claire L. Principe
🥈 1st Place — Jeanna Decano
🥉 2nd Place — Angela Reyes

SINGLES — MEN
🏆 Champion — Richmond Battaller
🥈 1st Place — Bien Angelo Padilla
🥉 2nd Place — Mart Lorenz Rocillo

MIXED DOUBLES

The tournament marked a celebration of skill, perseverance, and sportsmanship, as each player gave their best on the court in pursuit of victory.
