As the Philippine Taekwondo Association celebrates 50 years of excellence, we are deeply honored and grateful to the Senate of the Philippines for officially congratulating and commending PTA through Senate Resolution No. 62 on September 1, 2026.

This recognition belongs to every athlete who has proudly worn our colors, every coach who has guided and inspired, every referee and official who has upheld the integrity of our sport, and every family and supporter who has been part of our journey.

For five decades, our mission has gone beyond developing champions. Through Taekwondo, we have sought to shape generations of Filipinos grounded in discipline, integrity, respect, and leadership.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine Senate, especially to Sen. Migz Zubiri, for recognizing this legacy. And of course to Grandmaster Sung Chon Hong, PTA President Rafael Alunan III, and the entire Philippine Taekwondo community for building it together.

This honor is for all of us. Maraming salamat for being part of our first 50 years, and here's to the generations still to come.
