The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe (or simply Salinggawi), is the University-wide organization for cheer and dance and the official dance troupe of the University of Santo Tomas (UST). The group is known for its versatility covering a wide array of genre from the performing arts to cheerleading, from contemporary to hiphop. The Salinggawi Dance Troupe is also the university’s official UAAP cheerdance

team, along with the official pep squad and drumline - the UST Yellow Jackets. With 8 UAAP CDC titles and the longest winning streaking with a 5-peat under its belt, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe is undisputedly one of the most rewarded cheerdance teams in UAAP history. For the Lord, for the University of Santo Tomas, and to all who supports, both thomasians and non-thomasians alike, we train and fight hard for all of you! The UST Salinggawi Dance Summer Intensives 2026 has officially come to a close!

From Folk, Ballet, Jazz, Modern Contemporary, to Hip Hop, our members had the privilege of learning from outstanding dance artists and educators who challenged us to grow, push our limits, and refine our craft.

To all our teachers, thank you for sharing your passion, knowledge, and artistry with the Salinggawi family. We are deeply grateful for the time and dedication you invested in us, and we look forward to carrying these invaluable lessons into the new academic year.
