United Philippine Lines, Inc. (UPL) was established in 1960 and has been in operations since then. It operated a liner service of seven (7) cargo vessels serving a trade route between the Philippines and the United States via Hong Kong and Japan. UPL later on extended its operations to ship management, husbanding agency, general agency and chartering.
