Unplanned bad weather during one of our island trips.

Planning for unplanned bad weather in any out of town trips or even city forays will pay dividends all the time. Just like this trip in Coron where in the middle of our island hopping the weather turned really bad in a very short amount of time.

We didnt sweat it since we were on an island and had food and water. Most of all we all carried water proof backpacks that shielded our preps from even the hardest rain or wave.

Plannahead and chose the right gear, if its summer time in the city you may get away with a water risistant backpack or bag but if its typhoon season better use your most trusted waterproof gear.

Always test your gears before any crisis.

I always like to test my helmet, my gloves, my flashlights and my bags to the limit. Im always curious how they fare in harsh and unforgiving environments.

SHTF or Crisis scenarios whether earthquake or flood or typhoons, you need to know that you can safely depend on them when you need them. Its very very hard to fix deficiencies during emergencies bec you need to focus on your family's and your own survival first rather having to deal with another problem.

Gears should greatly help you in times of need when time is of the essence.
