HARMONY SHIELD 2027 - The Philippine National Rugby League is pleased to announce that the Central West Black Trackers will visit the Philippines in 2027 for a two-game series featuring Men’s and Under-18 Boys’ teams.
The Central West Black Trackers represent more than just a rugby league club; they serve as a significant symbol of pride, resilience, and opportunity for Indigenous communities in Central West New South Wales, particularly Wellington and Dubbo. Guided by their core slogan, “Community First,” the Black Trackers were founded to ensure that athletes from their own communities have access to major sporting platforms—opportunities that had previously been limited. The club is dedicated to opening doors, creating pathways, and ensuring inclusivity for all.
The Philippine National Rugby League embraces the CWBT’s core values, as both organisations are committed to providing opportunities for players in our communities to participate in rugby league.
We are proud to host the indigenous teams competing for the Harmony Shield and look forward to both teams from CWBT and the PNRL to fostering enduring connections and camaraderie that will last a lifetime.
Will you be at the event to cheer on both teams?
