4th FFCAAI Cup Badminton Tournament Marks a Successful Event for The Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations Inc. (FFCAAI), co-hosted by the Philippine Cultural College Alumni Association Inc. (PCCAAI)
The 4th FFCAAI Cup Badminton Tournament was held on May 31, 2026, at Perfect Smash Badminton Court in Grace Park East, Caloocan City. The event was hosted by the Philippine Cultural College Alumni Association, Inc. under the Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations, Inc. and gathered alumni, students, and badminton players from the Filipino-Chinese community.
The tournament became a meaningful and energetic sports event that promoted friendship, teamwork, and sportsmanship among its participants. More than 160 players from Philippine Cultural College, Xavier School, St. Stephen’s High School, St. Peter the Apostle School, St. Jude Catholic School, St. John’s Institute, Philippine Academy of Sakya, Pangasinan Universal Institute, Northern Rizal Yorklin School, Makati Hope Christian School, MGC New Life Christian Academy, Light Christian Academy, Jubilee Christian Academy, Immaculate Conception Academy, Huasiong College of Iloilo, Hope Christian High School, Grace Christian College, and Chiang Kai Shek College joined and participated in the Students 19 and under mixed category, 45 and below Men’s, Ladies, and Mixed Levels A, B, and C, and the 46 and above non-gender categories.
Aside from the exciting games, the event also strengthened the connection among alumni associations. It served as an opportunity for members of the Filipino-Chinese community to come together, support one another, and celebrate unity through sports. The successful turnout reflected the strong cooperation between the PCC Alumni Association, FFCAAI, organizers, volunteers, players, and supporters. Winners of the tournament were awarded cash prizes and medals, recognizing their hard work and outstanding performance throughout the competition. A series of raffle prizes were also drawn at intervals throughout the duration of the tournament.
Overall, the 4th FFCAAI Cup Badminton Tournament was a successful and memorable event for both the Philippine Cultural College Alumni Association Inc. and The Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations Inc.. More than just a competition, it became a celebration of camaraderie, community spirit, and the continuing bond among Filipino-Chinese.
