Flashback Friday! Excerpt of the article.
1. Basis of forfeiture?
- FAILURE to submit a SIGNED VAIS form. Who's signature was suppose to be in the VAIS form? Not Encho's but the Athletic Head's Signature.
"that Adamson failed to submit the signed hard copy of his VAIS."
2. Why is it that most players chose to transfer rather than to stay with us at Adamson?
- Encho's parents not the School fought for the Baby Falcons. We were left on our own. None from the schol attended the hearing from 10am-7pm.
"It must be noted that in Serrano’s moves to go to court, Adamson is not a party. He’s doing this on his own, not just for himself but for other players who may be similarly situated in the future."
The parents, not the coaches, decides where their kids will go to school. If our Baby Falcons decides to stay for season 80, lets be happy. If their family choose otherwise, lets not blame anyone but instead learn from our past mistakes. START A NEW PROGRAM that will again let our Baby Falcons soar again. Do not commit another mistake by offering players monetary reward to stay with us, these are High School kids, we are a University. Let us instill VALUES!
To our season 79 Players & Coaches- Thank you for your sacrifices and for making us proud to be a FALCON!
The fight isn’t over for Adamson junior basketball star Encho Serrano, a 17-year-old wunderkind who was ruled ineligible by the UAAP Board after leading the Baby Falcons to an 11-1 record and topping the race for MVP honors in statistical points this season.
