San Beda Dragon Boat Team San Beda Dragon Boat Team promotes paddling as a water sport to encourage Bedans to live a healthy lifestyle! (PCKF)

The San Beda Dragon Boat Rowing Society was organized to promote paddling as a challenging and exciting water sport to Bedan students. SBDBRS tends to enhance Bedans’ consciousness on health and physical fitness and in the process help the school to instill Bedan culture and discipline to the students. It was founded February 1998, formed by paddlers who seek to teach and share with Bedan students

how to be a dragon boat paddler and was affiliated with the founding organization of dragon boat in the country, Amateur Rowing Association of Philippines (ARAP). On the AY of 2003, the team changed its name to San Beda Dragon Boat Rowing Society to conform to school rules and was a member of Philippine Dragon Boat Federation. (PDBF)

After the glory years, the team have encountered problems yet survived its dark ages. The San Beda College has reinstated the Team as part of its Special Interest Organization effective 2nd Semester of AY 2011-2012 is now affiliated with Philippine Canoe and Kayak Federation.
