Nobody gave Eric Clement Quiday a second look last year as all eyes were on SSC's brilliant point guard, Eugene Quilban, as a shoo-in for Most Valuable Player honors. But the cool and calculating Eric shamed all skeptics by capturing the elusive plum to become the first Alta to achieve this feat in six years. Quiday was responsible for leading the Altas to a respectable second place behind the Stags and because of this, he was named MVP.

Eric first played for Paco Catholic School in a District 4 tournament in Ma-nila. After high school, he tried out with the Adamson Falcons but ended up completing a year's residence. In 1986, he moved over to Perpetual Help where he took up Mechanical Engineering.

No basketball game ever goes exactly as planned. You can prepare for hours, scout thoroughly, and script the first few possessions, but once the ball goes up, reality takes over. Opponents adjust. Players get in foul trouble. Matchups change. Momentum shifts.

It’s a wrap for our weekend basketball coaching clinic with Coach Louie Gonzalez and Coach Kalvin Sangalang!

Truly a progressive clinic as we learned modern techniques, improvement on basketball teachings and fundamentals. A great tool in support of our player’s development.

Beyond grateful to be part of this coaching clinic here in our province and be an instrument to be able to grow the game in Isabela and most especially in our hometown Roxas Isabela.
