The varsity basketball team of Far Eastern University in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). One of the founding members of the National Collegiate Athletic Associatio

n (NCAA) of the Philippines and the University Athletic Association of the Philippines in 1938. Won their first men's and women's UAAP basketball championships in 1938-39 and 1950–1951, respectively. The Tamaraws have the most number of championships in the men's basketball division, having won 19 titles. The University ranks third in total number of combined championships won in the juniors, women's, and men's basketball divisions. Notable Players:

-Three-time UAAP champion (2003–2005);

The UAAP Season 88 Basketball Tournament ended on a high note for the Far Eastern University!

The U-19 Baby Tamaraws capped off their season with a golden double, sweeping both the 5x5 and 3x3 tournaments after outlasting the UST Tiger Cubs, 21–17. Marc Burgos was named Most Valuable Player of the U-19 3x3 tournament, completing a twin triumph alongside Cabs Cabonilas, who bagged the MVP in the 5x5.

Meanwhile, the U-16 Baby Tamaraws settled for silver after falling to the Ateneo Blue Eagles in their finals matchup.

On the seniors side, the Lady Tamaraws finished with silver after a hard-fought campaign against the UST Tigresses.

Despite missing the Final Four, Kirby Mongcopa was named Rookie of the Year for the Men’s Division, capping off a breakthrough season for the Tamaraws basketball program.

The Baby Tamaraws are heading to the Finals!

Both the U-16 and U-19 Baby Tamaraws have secured their spots in the championship round of the UAAP Season 88 3x3 Tournament.

The U-16 Baby Tams cruised past the UE Junior Warriors, 21–15, while the U-19 Baby Tams took down the DLSZ Junior Archers, 21–18.

Now, it’s all set for the finals showdown:
The U-16 Baby Tamaraws face Ateneo at 3:20 PM, while the U-19 Baby Tamaraws battle UST at 4:00 PM.

The U-16 Baby Tamaraws take on UE later today, May 3 at 11:20 AM, while the U-19 Baby Tamaraws face De La Salle Zobel at 12 NN.

The elimination round of the UAAP Season 88 3x3 Basketball Tournament has officially concluded.

The Tamaraws wrapped up their campaign on a high note, finishing with a 3–4 record after a solid 21–15 win over UE.

Meanwhile, the U-16 Baby Tamaraws topped the standings with an impressive 6–1 record, closing out the eliminations with a 19–13 victory over UPIS.

In the U-19 division, the Baby Tamaraws absorbed another tough loss against NU, 18–21, but still secured the second seed with a 5–2 record heading into the next round.

After Days 3 and 4 of the UAAP Season 88 3x3 Tournament, here’s how the Tamaraws fared. 🏀🔥

In the Men’s Division, the Tamaraws slipped to a 2–4 record after dropping their last three games against La Salle, NU, and Adamson.

Meanwhile, the U-19 Baby Tamaraws secured a Final Four spot with an impressive 5–1 record, sweeping UP, UE, and La Salle across Days 3 and 4.

The U-16 Baby Tamaraws also advanced to the Final Four, finishing at 5–1. Despite absorbing their first loss against La Salle Zobel, they bounced back with convincing wins over NU and UE.

Day 5 is currently underway, with the semifinals set for May 3, 11 AM, at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

The Tamaraws advance to the Quarterfinals of the AsiaBasket NSAC Tournament after a dominant 100–77 win over the San Sebastian Stags in their Round of 16 matchup.

Janrey Pasaol led the charge with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Mo Konateh anchored the paint with a monster 25-rebound performance.

The Tamaraws now await their Quarterfinal opponent, set to face the winner between the CSB Blazers and the De La Salle Green Archers.
