or more popularly known as "MTBA", is the oldest tenpin bowling association in the Philippines. Established in 1969, it hosted the very first Open Championships in the country. In 2018, MTBA will play host to the 50th Golden Anniversary of the MTBA Open Championships, the longest running tenpin bowling tournament in the country. With its long history, the MTBA is also one of the biggest bowling as

sociations - counting more than 300 members culled from its affiliate-clubs: Valiant Bowling Club, Monday Strikers, U&I Bowling Club, UBL, Friday Bowling Club, Coastal Bowling Club, Pinseekers, Walker-Keglers, Lion's Bowling Club, Viking's Bowling Club, Remate Bowling Club, and its youth arm, the Manila Junior Bowlers. MTBA is a founding member of the Philippine Bowling Congress(1969), and the National Bowling Tour (2011). Currently, the association is located at Paeng's Midtown Bowl, at the 2nd floor of Robinson's Place Ermita in Manila. It holds its Monthly Championships every last Sunday of each month. Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family of Bert Miranda, father of Nino (Onin Miranda), who passed away early today. Ka Bert was very supportive of our MTBA Youth program and of our MTBA activities as well. He would tirelessly vlog about the progress of our youth bowlers, and our monthlies and tournaments. Please include him in your prayers. 🙏🙏🙏
