Little League Philippines Each Little League program is organized within a community. As part of a league’s annual charter it establishes its own boundaries with certain restrictions.

It is only from within this territory that the league may register its players. Little League Baseball is a non-profit organization whose mission is to "to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball."

HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR BARMM ⚾️🥎🇵🇭

KAURAN, MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR — A new chapter in grassroots baseball and softball has begun.

The Little League Philippines Grassroots Program, in partnership with Little League BARMM, successfully concluded the region’s first-ever comprehensive Baseball and Softball Sports Clinic, bringing together nearly 200 young athletes, coaches, educators, and sports stakeholders.

Led by:

Mr. Cheng Parreño — Director, Little League BARMM
Mr. Yashier Kasan — Operations Director & World Series Umpire

with veteran national team coaches:

Coach Kyle Rodrigo C. Villafaña Jr.

and with the support of the Provincial Government of Maguindanao del Sur, LGU of BARMM, Tai Tam Baseball Club Hong Kong, JKL Printing Services, and our local communities.

This was more than a clinic.

It was a bridge—connecting communities, developing coaches, inspiring young athletes, and using baseball and softball to build a stronger future for Mindanao.

The Little League Philippines Grassroots Program continues its mission as Little League – BARMM Region, in collaboration with the Province of Maguindanao del Sur under the leadership and strong support of Governor Hon. Datu Ali Midtimbang, hosts the Provincial-Wide Baseball and Softball Sports Clinic for MDS Coaches and Athletes at Kauran, Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur!

LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL CLINIC — BARMM, MINDANAO 🇵🇭⚾️

From August 21–23, Little League Philippines brings a special Baseball Clinic to BARMM, Mindanao, focused not only on developing young players but also on developing the coaches who will shape the future of baseball in their communities.

This program is made possible with the help of well-known coaches and former Philippine National Team players who bring valuable knowledge and experience from both the local and international baseball and softball scene.

Leading the coaching development is Coach Kyle Villafana, former Philippine National Baseball Team player and founder of Philippine Baseball The Dreamers, who continues to help build a new generation of knowledgeable and passionate baseball coaches in the Philippines.

Joining him are veteran coaches and former national team players:

⚾️ Coach Elsie Dela Torre — Former Philippine National Softball Team player and coach, bringing years of experience and knowledge in softball development.

⚾️ Coach Jonard Pareja — Former Philippine National Baseball Team player, bringing valuable experience from competitive baseball at the national level.

This is more than just a baseball clinic.

This is about building coaches who can build players.

Because if we want Philippine baseball to grow, we must invest not only in our young athletes, but also in the people who teach, guide, and develop them.

The goal of Little League Philippines is clear: GROW THE GRASSROOTS. 🇵🇭

Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat at CONGRATULATIONS kay Sir Alex Ordanza mula sa Sablut, Balaoan, La Union! He proudly represented the country as an Official Umpire for the recently concluded 2026 Junior League Softball World Series held in Kirkland, Washington, USA, from August 2 to 8! 🇺🇸

As a dedicated technical official of Little League Philippines, Sir Alex’s journey is a massive testament to his unwavering commitment, sharp judgment, and deep passion for the game.

Tumuntong siya sa pandaigdigang entablado bitbit ang galing, dedikasyon, at integridad ng isang tunay na Pilipino—nagbibigay karangalan hindi lamang sa bayan ng Balaoan at probinsya ng La Union, kundi sa buong bansa.

His remarkable achievement at the week-long tournament proves that with hard work and excellence, Filipino umpires can stand tall and officiate at the absolute highest levels of international softball.

Sir Alex, you are an inspiration to our local leagues, young athletes, and aspiring technical officials across the nation!
