To our beloved PEBL community and respected Kuya Governors,
For the past few weeks PEBL management has been under attack.We had an opportunity to process what went wrong and discuss with the committee how we can avoid things like this from ever happening again and be better moving forward.
We are responsible for the thriving PEBL community that supports us and so we felt compelled to be transparent and share exactly what happened.
As of this writing, we are still waiting for the settlement of obligations from more than half of the participating regions. As previously mentioned, the LIGA was established to enhance camaraderie and sports fellowship in the order. It was established out of the love for the sports and to detoxify from all the political issues embroiling our organization. Thus, when we initially started, PEBL committee banked on our mutual agreements with our mga Kuya. These are all respectable gentleman and brothers and so , yes admittedly we were not strict with them when they asked for payment extensions.
Contrary to posting , we have been in coordination with Mr. Magandi on several occasions to resolve issue in correct manner and in a proper venue. It seems however, that Mr. Mangandi has βbeen contactedβ by several persons not happy with PEBL and was given a βgreen lightβ to continue.
We believe Mr. Mangandi is a reasonable man and have asked for a meeting from him .We deeply regret the inconvenience this has brought him. However, since he insists on social media postings we apologize that we need to take down these postings for time being that everything is under negotiation. Moving forward, we would like to thank all the regions that have paid in full and request the remaining regions to do the same. We have always believed in the values of our beloved fraternity. We have walked alongside mga Kuya that we have all admired and respected greatly. We have great faith that these brothers are still present in the organization unmarred and unfazed and untainted by any vested ambitions. Mga kuya Nothing but sincere gratitude for your continued and most valued support.
