METROPOLITAN INTER-SCHOOL BASKETBALL LEAGUE
TOURNAMENT MECHANICS
DIVISIONS:
JUNIORS (High School) – 17 UNDER (17 yrs old and below, born 1998) – 6 teams
13 UNDER (13 yrs old and below, born 2002) – 6 teams
SENIORS (Alumni) – 6 teams
PARTICIPATING FEE: Seniors- P15k (inclusive of P3K as bond which is refundable)
Juniors-P12k (inclusive of P2K as bond which is refundable)
OPENING DATE: OCTOBER 10, 2015
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Elimination Round: Single Round Robin. (Top four teams will Advance to the quarter finals for a crossover game.)
Semi-Finals: Crossover (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Finals: Winner vs Winner for Championship
Looser vs Looser for 3rd place
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Players for the Juniors Division must be a currently enrolled student and an alumnus of their respective schools for the Seniors Division as certified by their school’s Registrar;
2. Each player must fill up the official entry form to include their respective Team Managers, Head Coach and Assistant Coach/es;
3. Players who are not in the roster of their respective teams will not be allowed to play;
4. Each competing alumni team (Seniors) must support their junior (high school) team, if there is any, to be considered an official entry;
5. Players who participated or currently participating in any professional or commercial league are disqualified to join;
6. Participating teams must have a TEAM MANAGER or a COACH, as an official representative who will manage and direct the team and will serves as its adviser and handler who will attend all meetings as called for in the league
REQUIREMENTS:
JUNIORS DIVISION
1. Duly accomplished MISBL Information sheet and waiver (with picture).
2. Certificate of Enrollment
3. Photocopy of Student ID.
4. Photocopy of NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate.
4. Medical Certificate.
5. Players Gallery in one long folder with 2x2 ID Picture each team.
SENIORS DIVISION (Alumni)
1. Duly accomplished MISBL Information sheet and waiver (with picture).
2. Photocopy of any Government issued ID.
3. Medical Certificate.
4. Players Gallery in one long folder with 2x2 ID Picture each team.
