i got injured.

i was in denial for so long, honestly. i thought i just tweaked my knee a little, but it turned into months of uncertainty, pain, rehab, scans, injections, and learning how to slow down.

crazy how i somehow survived our hyrox race haha. i kept thinking rest would fix it, that i’d bounce back in a week or two. sadly that wasn’t the case.

patellar tendinosis. quad tendon damage. runner’s knee. jumper’s knee.

first time an injury like this happened to me. I guess you could do everything right and things still just happen sometimes.

so yeah. no running. no normal training. just lots of rehab, isometrics, patience, and trying to stay hopeful.

this has honestly been one of the hardest mental battles ive had, and there are definitely days i get really sad about it. but i know there’s something to learn from this too.

thank you to my doctor and .ptrc for diagnosing my injury and taking good care of me.

healing takes time. and there will be happier days ahead.

Some of the best sessions don’t feel real unless you get to look back at them.

I learned that the hard way after a few ā€œstorage fullā€ moments mid-run šŸ˜…

Now I just keep the sandisk phone drive with me. Plug in, clear space, and keep going.
No interruptions, no overthinking.

Just making sure the work I put in doesn’t disappear.
