Here are the 8 Growth Gaps. Check mo kung alin dyan ang humahadlang sayo:

🔴 THE ASSUMPTION GAP
"I assume that I will automatically grow."
Ito ang pinaka-delikado. Yung mindset na dahil tumatanda ka naman, lumalago ka na rin. Hindi! Growth is intentional. Hindi automatic. 👴👵

🟠 THE EXPECTATION GAP
"I thought it would be easier than this."
Nagsimula ka. Pero nung nahirapan ka, nagulat ka. Parang hindi naman kasi yon yung ineexpect mo. Kaya bumalik ka nalang sa dati. 😫😭

🟡 THE KNOWLEDGE GAP
"I don't know how to grow."
Gustong gusto mo pero hindi mo alam kung saan magsisimula. Kaya ayan, hindi ka na nagsisimula. 🤷🏻‍♂️

🟢 THE TIMING GAP
"It's not the right time to begin."
Pagkatapos na nitong project na ito. Pag stable na ang negosyo. Pag okay na ang lahat. SPOILER: Hindi darating ang "right time" kung di mo sisimulan. ⏳

🟤 THE MISTAKE GAP
"I'm afraid of making mistakes."
Takot kang magkamali at mag fail, kaya hindi ka kumikilos. Kaso yung mga pagkakamali ang pinakamabilis na paraan para mag grow. 😑❌

⚫ THE PERFECTION GAP
"I have to find the best way before I start."
Nag-reresearch ka pa rin. Nag-aaral ka parin. Nag-aabang ka pa rin ng perfect plan. Pero ang perfect plan na hindi ini-execute ay walang kwenta! 🥱😴

"I don't feel like doing it."
Naghihintay ka ng motivation. Ng tamang mood. Ng spark. Pero ang resulta hindi dadating kung naka base ka sa feeling. Move kahit hindi ka handa! 💪🔥

"Others are better than I am."
Tinitingnan mo lagi yung iba. Tapos makikita at mararamdaman mong kulang ka. Kaya hindi ka na nagsisimula. Kaya tama na sa pag kumpara! 😳🫣

According sa The Global Mind Project ng Sapien Labs, from their Mental State of the World Report 2024, mula sa more than 1M respondents sa 82 countries:

🔴 Walang improvement ang global mental health mula nang bumagsak ito noong pandemic.
🔴 Every younger generation, mas mababa ang mental health kaysa sa mga naunang generation.
🔴 Ang mga young adults (18-34) ang pinaka-apektado — mas mataas ang distress, mas mababa ang resilience, mas mahina ang social at cognitive capacities.
🔴 Ang mga pangunahing dahilan: smartphones sa murang edad, ultra-processed food, at pagkasira ng family bonds at spirituality.

Read that again... EVERY. YOUNGER. GENERATION. Worse than the last.

Now place that reality in the context of the Philippines. We are in the middle of political chaos. Economic pressure. A crisis of leadership and values. And through all of it, our children and our youth are watching. Feeling. Absorbing everything.
