Sancho Miguel Sevilla or "Sev", "Sancho" to his pals, is only 14 years old, the youngest of 2 sons of Stephen and Helen.
A lover of the Arts and Music; Sancho is a very smart, active and talented teenager - even an active dancer at their school via Don Bosco Dance Group - "D'SCOUTS" at DBTC Mandaluyong. Sancho plays Guitar and Ukelele during his spare time, in between studying hard, he can also be caught tinkering with mechanisms being "Mechanical" as his top favorite subject. He dreams of either becoming a Mechanical Engineer or an Interior Designer one day.
All these he enjoyed doing from time to time with family and friends, until he and his family were given a test they never thought possible.
His Mom recalled that Sancho complained of feeling muscle back pains and has now been admitted at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center and was diagnosed with Pott's Disease and underwent spine surgery.
Pott's Disease is Tuberculosis of the Spine which if left untreated, may have resulted to Sancho being paralyzed and thus not being able to continue his love for Arts, Music and Dance.
His said condition came on top of the Covid-19 pandemic, which left a major impact on his family's finances.
Despite all these, he and his family remains lively and optimistic that with God's Grace, they will all be able to go through all these trials handed to them, especially for Sancho at such a young age.
To encourage Sancho and his family, the rest of the members of their family with their friends; headed by , have come together to hold this fundraiser to help out.
You too can be a blessing to Sancho and his family by purchasing any of the locally, handmade crafts and art works on this page and proceeds will be used for Sancho's recovery (within 6 months to a year); to cover hospital bills, surgery and continuously increasing expenses including therapy.
Because of the pandemic, the family's finances has been affected. Resources were already depleted. We are also asking for help and for the goodness of family, friends & other people who are willing to help Sancho's recovery. Your help, as your heart leads you, whatever amount will help them with the hospital bills and medications. You may send your love gift to:
