An ultramarathon distance is considered a testament to a runner's endurance and mental fortitude.

Congratulations to one of our seasoned road runners sir Paul Dela Peña for achieving this feat at the Bataan Death March Ultramarathon 160km event which started Saturday the 22nd and ended Sunday the 23rd of February

Sir Paul also completed the prequel to this event which is the Bataan Death March Ultramarathon 102km event 2 years ago.

The Bataan Death March (BDM) Ultra Marathon features two ultra marathon races along a route steeped in World War II history.

This event retraces the route of the original march of death endured by thousands of Filipino and American prisoners of war in 1942, who were forcibly transferred from Mariveles, Bataan to San Fernando, Pampanga under unforgiving weather conditions and treatment by their Japanese captors.
