During the recent Radyo Kapitolyo Live on Air with Kuya Normel De Jesus and Ate Jamie Carpio of the Provincial Youth and Sports Division Office (PYSDO), we caught a glimpse of an incredible, full-circle journey.

Our very own Bulakenyo pride, 𝐊𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐒. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨 and 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐆. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳, shared their inspiring transition from being passionate, aspiring players led by the powerhouse duo of Bulacan Softball, 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐥 & 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐀𝐧𝐚, to becoming the dedicated coaches of the 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦.

𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 | 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐔𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

One of the primary missions of the Provincial Youth and Sports Development Office - PYSDO - 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 is to implement grassroots sports development programs that cultivate and bring out the hidden potential not only of our youth, as well as individuals who aspire to begin their athletic journey later in life. Through the annual 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜, PYSDO continues to promote sportsmanship, discipline, and active living among Bulakenyos.

As the culmination of this year’s Summer Sports Clinic, the annual 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 was held last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥 𝐆𝐲𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬 𝐂. 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨 for his inspiring message to our graduates and recognizing their dedication, perseverance, and hard work throughout the program and to 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐑. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 for his support in making this meaningful program possible.

We also commend all the coaches, parents, and participants who contributed to the success of this year’s clinic. Your unwavering support and commitment continue to inspire us to strengthen and expand sports development programs for every Bulakenyo.

In a highly anticipated match, the 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞) 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 dominated 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 with a final score of 𝟏𝟑–𝟒 in their semifinal clash held at Ferdinand E. Marcos Memorial Stadium in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

In an early 2 point deficit in the first inning, the Major Dreamers quickly responded with a strong offensive surge and never looked back, securing their spot in the championship round.

They are set to face Aklan in the finals, following Aklan’s hard-fought 1–0 victory over Tanauan City, Batangas in their semifinal match.

Bulacan and Aklan will battle for the title on April 25, 2026, at 7:00 AM at the same venue. The winner will earn the honor of representing the Philippines in the upcoming Asia Pacific Softball League in Tokyo, Japan this July 2026.

One more win and the podium is secured for the Senior Softball Dreamers.
