🏐 Victory in Unity, Strength in Spirit!

The recently concluded Legislative District 5 Athletic Meet Volleyball Competition held on October 9–12, 2025, in Luna, Isabela, showcased the unwavering determination and teamwork of our athletes. Among the eight competing municipalities/districts, our volleyball teams displayed outstanding skill, passion, and sportsmanship throughout every match.

With hearts full of pride, we celebrate our MPCI-Mallig Volleyball Boys’ Team for clinching the Bronze Medal and our MPCI-Mallig Volleyball Girls’ Team for earning the Silver Medal, a true testament to their dedication, resilience, and the spirit of Mallig Plains Colleges, Inc. and Mallig Delegation. Your hard work and perseverance continue to inspire us all.

Congratulations, champions! 🥈🥉💪

Special thanks to our Chairman/President Dr. Praxedes A. Ignacio for your unending support, generosity, love and care to our athletes, ma'am.

United by passion, driven by purpose! 💪
The ONE TEAM - MALLIG IN-HOUSE TRAINING held last October 3–5, 2025 at Mallig Plains Colleges, Inc. ignited teamwork, discipline, and determination among our athletes as they trained together with one goal and to raise the banner of excellence in every game they play. 🏐🔥

"Mas Mahalaga sa MVP"
From a Coach Who Cares Like a Parent

Hindi ko goal na gawin kayong MVP.
Ang totoo?
Mas gusto kong makita kayong maging mabuting tao.

Yung marunong mag-hustle kahit walang nanonood.
Yung sumisigaw ng “good job!” kahit nasa bench.
Yung unang tumatakbo palapit sa teammate na nadapa, at huling umaalis sa gym kasi tinulungan pang linisin ang gamit.

Yung naglalaro hindi dahil sa awards,
kundi dahil may puso sa ginagawa.
Yung hindi lang magaling,
pero marunong ding makinig, magpakumbaba, at magpakatao.

Yes, I’ll push you.
I’ll discipline you.
I’ll expect more from you—
pero hindi dahil gusto kong manalo lang tayo, kundi dahil gusto kong magtagumpay kayo sa totoong buhay.

Kasi pag tapos na ang liga,
wala na ang crowd,
wala na ang jersey,
wala na ang spotlight—
ang tanging matitira ay kung anong klaseng tao kayo naging habang nasa team na ‘to.

At kung ako ang tatanungin,
hindi MVP ang pinakapremyo ko.
Ang tunay na panalo ay makita kayong:

✅ Marunong rumespeto.
✅ Marunong lumaban ng patas.
✅ Marunong magdala ng pagkatalo.
✅ Marunong magtagumpay nang hindi lumalaki ang ulo.
✅ At higit sa lahat—marunong magmahal sa mga kasama sa team na parang pamilya.

Kaya tandaan n’yo ‘to:
I’m not just coaching athletes.
I’m helping raise future leaders, teammates, and good people.

At kung ‘yan ang maabot ninyo—
para sa akin,
panalo na tayo.

𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 | 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐨 — 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭. ♥️🏐
Sabi nila, sayang lang daw ang pera at oras sa volleyball.
Gastos sa pamasahe araw-araw, playing shoes, jersey, knee pads, tournament fees—
yes, aminado ako, hindi biro ang gastos.

Pero alam mo kung anong nakikita naming mga magulang?
Hindi lang laro ‘to.
Ito’y training sa buhay.

Sabi nila, kawawa daw ang anak ko.
Nakakapagod daw kasi pagkatapos ng klase, derecho training—
Monday to Friday, halos walang pahinga.

Pero alam mo kung anong mas kinatatakutan ko?
Yung lumabas siya ng bahay at mapunta sa barkadang hindi maganda ang impluwensya.
Yung maubos oras niya sa kaka-scroll sa TikTok,
manood ng kung anu-anong walang saysay.

Mas pipiliin kong mapagod siya sa training,
kaysa mapagod sa consequences ng maling choices.

Gusto ko siyang i-train hindi lang physically, pero emotionally at mentally—
para pagdating ng totoong laban sa buhay, may lakas ng loob siyang humarap.

Sabi rin ng iba, baka pinipilit ko lang siya.
Na baka ako lang ang may gusto nito, dahil ‘di ko naabot ang pangarap ko noon.

Pero ang totoo?
Siya mismo ang may gusto.
Mahal niya ang volleyball.
Gusto niya ‘to.
Ako? Nandito lang para sumuporta.

Kaya oo,
✅ Mas gusto kong mapunta siya sa environment na may disiplina at respeto.
✅ Mas gusto kong makasama niya ang mga ka-teammates na may parehong mindset.
✅ Mas gusto kong nasa paligid siya ng mga taong nagpapalakas sa kanya—hindi sumisira.

Dito, natututo siya hindi lang maglaro.
Natututo siyang makinig.
Natututo siyang magtiwala sa sarili.
Natututo siyang bumangon pag nadapa.

Volleyball is more than just a sport para sa kanya— ito’y parte ng paghubog sa pagkatao niya.

At sa dulo ng araw,
𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴.
At ganun din ang mga taong nasa paligid ng anak natin.

Kaya kahit hindi maintindihan ng iba,
pipiliin ko pa rin ‘to.
Kasi hindi lang ito tungkol sa volleyball—
tungkol ito sa kung anong klaseng tao ang nabubuo dahil sa sport na mahal niya.

Are you willing to learn and ready to join the MPCI Volleyball Team? Here’s your chance to stand out and show what you can do.

𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
•Who (Open to all incoming and old students)
- High School: Grade 7 to 12 students
- College: 1st to 4th year College
• Date:
- June 6, 2025: Volleyball Boys & Men
- June 7, 2025: Volleyball Girls & Women
• Time:
8:00am-8:30am --- Registration
8:30am-9:00am --- Orientation
9:00am-11:30am --- Skills Try-out
1:00pm-4:00pm --- Actual Play Try-out
(Strictly follow the schedule)
