Saving our reefs together 🌊

Crown of Thorns starfish may look harmless, but outbreaks can destroy huge areas of coral reefs, affecting marine life, biodiversity, and the livelihoods that depend on a healthy ocean. Pollution, overfishing of their natural predators, and environmental stress all contribute to these outbreaks.

Eclipse Dive Center, BBASS, Philippine Coast Guards (PCG), LGU Malay and MDRRMO came together to help protect our reefs through Crown of Thorns collection efforts 🤝

Small actions matter — keeping our beaches and oceans clean, practicing responsible tourism, and protecting marine ecosystems all help keep our reefs alive for future generations 💙
