Never hold your breath while scuba diving! π€Ώπ
As you descend, the pressure around you increases. As you ascend, the surrounding pressure decreases and the air in your lungs expands. Holding your breath while ascending can prevent that expanding air from escaping and may cause serious lung injury.
Remember:
* π¬οΈ Breathe continuously and normally.
* β¬οΈ Never hold your breath during ascent.
* π’ Ascend slowly and follow your dive plan.
* π€Ώ If something feels wrong, signal your buddy and follow your training.
Breathe, relax, and enjoy the dive! ππ
