FCK Prelude Pre-Season Tournament | The Finals

Team Medellin put on an absolute clinic on the grand stage, turning the championship clash into a completely one-sided affair. Dictating the pace from the tip-off, Medellin completely suffocated Sydney V-Tea and blew the game wide open, surging ahead by as much as 24 points. Showing plenty of heart, Sydney tried desperately to mount a comeback, but visible fatigue from their brutal, down-to-the-wire semifinal battle against Athens caught up to them. They simply couldn't close the gap as Medellin maintained a comfortable double-digit cushion all throughout, cruising to a dominant 65–45 victory to claim the title!

Athens Semptech looked well on their way to a blowout victory, dictating the pace and orchestrating a massive 20-point lead early on behind the steady brilliance of Jun Gregorio II, Matthew Dela Cruz, and Sherwin Mariano. But the script completely flipped after the break! Refusing to go down quietly, Sydney V-Tea turned the tide in the second half as Robert Jadia Estrada, Rashid Ezekiel Cipriano, Chard Perez Fernandez, and Val Joseph Valeriano spearheaded a ferocious comeback to completely steal the momentum and secure a dramatic 78–74 victory.

Team Medellin Infinitej came out swinging, with Raket Lonchar leading the offense early to orchestrate the attack and build a comfortable cushion for Medellin. They controlled the tempo for most of the game, maintaining a dominant 14-point lead. But you can never count out Team Paris Rody Days Jr.! Powered by a relentless surge from Samboy Sahagun, Ram Motus, and Win'weng Arevalo Alarcon, Paris mounted a furious comeback, cutting the lead down to just 2 points in the middle of the 4th quarter.

Just as the momentum completely shifted, John Christopher Macapagal, Dexter Jay Tejada and Omac Saxor slammed the door shut. Taking matters into their own hands, they engineered the clutch plays needed to fend off the rally and secure the Game 1 victory for Medellin, 79–68!
