Respect the Track: Keep It Safe and Swift! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ Remember to stay in your lane, give way to faster runners, and save stretching and socializing for outside the track. Letโs keep our running space open and focused!
โข Run in a counterclockwise direction.
โข People who are walking slowly or are new runners should use the outer lanes (LANES #7 and #8).
โข People who are walking briskly or running slowly should use the middle lanes (LANES #4, #5, and #6).
โข Priority for using the inner lanes, LANES #1, #2, and #3, should be given to runners doing sprint training and/or tempo runs.
LANES #1 and #2 are typically used and prioritized for the fastest runners.
โข If you are doing sprint training in LANES #1 and #2, do not stop abruptly. Move to the outer lanes and start walking.
โข If you intend to pass another runner, warn the runner ahead of you.
โข Stretching should be done outside the circular track.
โข The circular track is NOT a place for โsocializing.โ Do not stand, stroll, or gather on the track.
โข DO NOT throw anything like water bottles, balls, water, etc., around the track.
