Established in 1993 as a club for Aviation enthusiasts, Angeles City Flying Club boasts a fleet of professionally maintained Ultralight Aircraft that members can rent; and guest can gain an introduction to flying with our member coaches. The Club also has spacious hangers for, member owned, Light Sport, General Aviation aircraft and Helicopters. Our members are from all over the world and from all

walks of life with a common love for flying and all things aviation. Whilst Safety is a priority above all else, the Club makes for a truly family friendly environment so everyone can have a day of enjoyment away from busy city life. A truly historic and heartwarming day at the Angeles City Flying Club (ACFC)!

We were deeply honored to receive President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. (PBBM) as he visited Pasinaya Homes, part of the 4PH housing program of DHSUD, located near our club.

PBBM landed here at ACFC, where he was warmly welcomed — and later sent off with the same heartfelt hospitality. His presence brought pride and joy to our community, and we want him to know that he is always welcome to return anytime.

This special occasion was made even more memorable with the presence of:

First Solo Flight: Manuel

From trike pilot to proud club member since May 1, 2021, Manuel just made his mark at Angeles City Flying Club — completing his first solo flight with three flawless landings, coached by Emile and officially checked out by Ron.

But here’s the twist: Three landings? Pfft. That’s just a warm-up for Manuel. This sky-high perfectionist went back up for a bonus round — just to make sure the runway still had feelings for him.

And while he was up there, his wife was on the ground, riding a rollercoaster of emotions — equal parts proud, nervous, and ready to Google “how to land a plane” just in case.

Oh, and did we mention? He’s the proud owner of an Aero Marine Merlin aircraft — because when you dream big, you don’t just fly… you fly in style.

They say the first is always the best — and this one’s written in the clouds (with a little extra flair). Your dream of flying starts here. Whether you’re 16 or 60, there’s no age limit on chasing the sky. Just keep pushing — and maybe pack snacks for your cheering squad.

“A Skyward Escape for Two… and a plot twist she didn’t see coming.”

She’s flying high above Pampanga, thinking it’s just a scenic joyride. Meanwhile, he’s on the ground, sweating bullets, rehearsing his lines, and praying the banner doesn’t blow away.

As the ultralight swoops low, she spots the giant “Will you marry me?” sprawled across the field. Her jaw drops. His knees wobble. The pilot’s probably grinning.

Because at Angeles City Flying Club, we don’t just offer flights—we deliver dramatic entrances, nervous grooms, and sky-high love stories.

Monette kicked off the café’s glass project meeting with a selfie—because if it’s not on camera, did it even happen?

Ron, ever the visionary, pointed dramatically at a wall. “This is where the magic happens,” he declared, as if unveiling the Louvre’s next masterpiece.

Emile, armed with notes and a laser focus, nodded with the intensity of someone solving a national crisis. The glass contractor, tape measure in hand, was already calculating angles like he was prepping for a NASA launch.

Between Monette’s photo ops, Ron’s TED Talk energy, and the duo’s architectural seriousness, the café’s future glass wall was born—with more flair than actual blueprints and just enough math to keep it standing.

Ron’s Run-Up Rodeo

On a cloudy afternoon, Chris, the Chief Mechanic, finished inspecting RP-S0048 and turned to Ron.

“Run-up and taxi test,” Chris said. “I need to hear how the engine performs.”

Ron nodded, climbed into the cockpit, and started the engine with a confident, “Let’s do this.” The aircraft hummed to life. Ron eased it forward, taxiing smoothly across the field as Chris and the crew observed.

Miko and Christian whispered, “He’s actually doing it right.”

Chris replied, “Miracles happen.”

After a clean loop and a gentle stop, Ron climbed out, grinning. “Engine’s got punch.”

Chris nodded. “Sounds solid. Thanks, Ron.”

He gave a thumbs-up—this time with the wrench right-side up.

No drama. No zigzag. Just a successful test and a rare moment of quiet competence.
