The UPLB Lawn Tennis Varsity Team is now opening its VAAS Tryouts for incoming freshmen (AY 2026–2027) and transferees to UPLB.

Got the passion, discipline, and drive for the game? This is your chance to train, improve your game, and proudly represent UPLB as part of the Fighting Maroons ✊🏻

• Incoming first-year students
• Transferees to UPLB

The UPLB Lawn Tennis Varsity Team extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Robillos Family for their generous donation of tennis equipment to support our training sessions!

The tennis balls, ball cart, coach’s clipboard, and training aids such as the agility ladder, cones, markers, and hoppers will greatly support our training sessions and help our team to continue to improve on the court! 🎾

Our Tennis Clinic last February 7 and 9 was an absolute success! 🎾

From the first warm-up rally to the final drills, our participants showed up ready to learn and give it their all. The heat didn’t stop anyone — in fact, it only fueled the fire on court. ☀️

To everyone who joined us, thank you for trusting us with your first swings, your first rallies, and maybe even your first love for tennis. Your energy and enthusiasm truly made the clinic extra special. 💚

After five days of pulse-pounding competition and an incredible showcase of athletic abilities and heartwarming sportsmanship, November 28 saw the 2025 STRASUC Olympics come to a close with a colorful and meaningful ceremony.

UPLB finished strong, ranking 6th overall with a medal haul of 32 gold, 49 silver, and 37 bronze—a testament to the skill, dedication, and heart of the student-athlete delegation.

UPLB is wholly thankful to this year’s host university of Marinduque State University and the province of Marinduque for their warm welcome and hospitality. Truly an unforgettable experience for our student-athletes!

And last but not least, we are proud to announce that UPLB will be the host for the 2026 STRASUC Olympics!
