After five days of pulse-pounding competition and an incredible showcase of athletic abilities and heartwarming sportsmanship, November 28 saw the 2025 STRASUC Olympics come to a close with a colorful and meaningful ceremony.

UPLB finished strong, ranking 6th overall with a medal haul of 32 gold, 49 silver, and 37 bronze—a testament to the skill, dedication, and heart of the student-athlete delegation.

UPLB is wholly thankful to this year’s host university of Marinduque State University and the province of Marinduque for their warm welcome and hospitality. Truly an unforgettable experience for our student-athletes!

And last but not least, we are proud to announce that UPLB will be the host for the 2026 STRASUC Olympics!

𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗕 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 proudly congratulates 𝗠𝗞𝗟 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗶 for securing 2nd place in the Esports – CODM category of the 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 held last November 26 in Boac, Marinduque.

Relentless as the storm, Buhawi tore through the competition with grit and unshakable discipline. Despite momentum swings, formidable opponents, and high-pressure moments, the squad stayed locked in —seizing every opportunity on the battlefield with sharp coordination and unwavering resolve. Their synergy, mechanical prowess, and team-wide resilience carried them through intense exchanges of bullets and hard-fought rounds, securing a well-deserved 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 finish and leaving a lasting impression on both the crowd and their opponents.

𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗕 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 proudly congratulates 𝗠𝗞𝗟 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻 for placing 3rd in the Esports – MLBB category of the 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 held last November 27 in Boac, Marinduque.

Tenacious as Mt. Makiling itself, the team showed immense resilience despite early-game setbacks. Their patience and composure paid off as they held their ground and found the perfect moments to strike. With sharp timing, individual skills, and undeniable team chemistry, they turned the tides against Marinduque State University and clutched their matches —securing the 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗲 medal with a 2 - 1 run.

𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 👑

From a shaky start with 7th place finishes in Games 1 and 2, 𝗠𝗞𝗟 𝗞𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗼 of the MKL Adhika Teamfight Tactics team refused to back down. Tenacious like the mountain, he clawed his way back, clutching 1st place in Game 4 and sealing the deal with another 1st in Game 5. 🏆

In the final game, the battle for the crown turned into a clash between teammates as 𝗠𝗞𝗟 𝗞𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗼 and 𝗠𝗞𝗟 𝗺𝗥𝗼𝗱𝘆 were the last two tacticians standing, landing 1st and 8th respectively among 20+ contenders.

With this comeback performance, 𝗠𝗞𝗟 𝗞𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗼 conquered this week’s 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐭, earning his key to the grand coliseum where champions converge.
