SCC-Lingayen soars higher, snatches 4th place!

Yesterday's 18U ODL at Calasiao Sports Complex showcased the young and talented volleyball players all over Pangasinan.

Our budding LVC players, John Jay Layug, MJ Castro, and Rojem Santos, together with their team at Saint Columban's College Lingayen, outperformed their previous record. Sam Posadas, a PNVF Lingayen U21 Member skippered the squad and was able to rank 1st in their bracket and advance to the quarter finals where they defeated Emperor Bani. They were halted by Umingan Team A during the semis and eventually bowed to HOH for the battle for third. Thus, proclaimed as 3rd runner-up.

At the end of the tournament, John Jay Layug was hailed as the Conference MVP. The team was mentored by LVC and PNVF Lingayen Coach, Mr. Vander Padilla.
