TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
Entry Submission
-For categories Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles, all interested participants may register individually, just approach any of the club member.
-Once you are registered, a screening committee will identify you whether your HIGH beginner or LOW beginner.
-Registration fee is Php350.00 each with FREE shirt. No refund once registration is confirmed.
-Registration deadline is on July 4, 2026 11:00pm
For Kids Category
-You can register with your partner. No switching of partners/players is allowed once the registration is closed.
PAIRING (Men’s and Women’s Doubles)
-Blind pairing system will be applied. 1 from high beginner and 1 from low beginner.
-Pairing will be done by draw lots or online roleta. For transparency, we will do video recording or via facebook live.
General Rules
-Standard USA Pickleball Rules will be applied unless otherwise specified.
-Players must respect referees and organizer’s decisions.
-Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in warnings, penalties, or disqualification.
Time Schedule of Matches
*Schedule of games and matches per category are as follows:
Women’s Doubles - July 10, Friday from 6:00pm until the end of quarterfinals.
Men’s Doubles - July 11, Saturday from 8:00am until end of quarterfinals.
Kids Category - July 11, Saturday from 5:00pm until end of quarterfinals.
Semi final and final games will be played on Sunday from 10:00am.
-We will be posting schedule and time of matches for every category on July 8, 2026.
-The organizers will strictly follow the scheduled time allotted in every category so all players are required to be at the venue at least 1 hour before on your scheduled time.
-All players are required to check-in at the table at least 1 hour before on your scheduled game/match.
-Once your name is called, you are given 3-minute grace period to proceed on the court. Failure to do so means DEFAULT.
Elimination Matches
All categories are divided into 4 brackets. Each pair will compete all pairs within their bracket.The top 2 pairs of each bracket will advance to the next round.
In case of double/triple tie, basis of top 2 pairs are:
-Highest number of wins
-Point system
-Win over the other
-1 game and first to reach the score of 6 will win. No change court. No slide 2. No time out.
QUARTERFINALS
Game 1: Bracket A1 vs Bracket D2
Game 2: Bracket B1 vs Bracket C2
Game 3: Bracket C1 vs Bracket B2
Game 4: Bracket D1 vs Bracket A2
SEMIFINALS
-Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 3
-Winner of Game 2 vs Winner of Game 4
-FIGHT FOR 3rd and CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
-Defeated pairs in semifinals will fight for 2nd runner up.
-Winning pairs will fight for Championship.
Match Rules and Scoring Format
-Every bracket will have an assigned court. A 3-minute grace period will be given after the match call. Failure to appear after the grace period results in a DISQUALIFICATION/DEFAULT of that game.
-Elimination Round - First to reach 11 points will win. Change court at 6.
-Sudden death and no time out.
-Quarterfinals, Semifinals and fight for 2nd Runner-up - First to reach 15 points will win. Change court at 8. A 1 1-minute time-out per team is allowed. In case of 14 all, only 1 deuce shall be observed. After the deuce, sudden death shall be applied.
-Finals - First to reach 21 points will win. Change court at 11. A 1 1-minute time-out per team is allowed. In case of 20 all, only 1 deuce shall be observed. After the deuce, sudden death shall be applied.
