Was scrolling through my gallery and came across this video.

This was during KC46’s first National Pushbike Championship in December 2023, at the back of the then Doris Diner.

3 laps pa ning panahona, and Ate Yannah was only 5 years old.

She was running in 5th place when she started making her way forward. One rider at a time until she overtook 3 strong riders ahead of her and climbed all the way to 2nd place.🥹
(3rd lap was the best part)

Almost 3 years ago, but this video still brings tears to my eyes. Truly one for the books in Ate Yannah’s pushbike journey.

Look how far you’ve come, Pangging. Mama and Papa are always so proud of you.😘

Pushbike friends, friends for keeps.🥰

The best part of pushbike racing isn’t always the medals or the podiums, it’s the friendships our kids make along the way.

Sad to think that pushbike is not forever. There will come a time when they’ll have to hang up their helmets, leave the tracks, and say goodbye to this chapter. But we hope the friendships they made here will last a lifetime.

For now, let them race, laugh, cheer for each other, and make as many memories as they can. Because someday, these little racers will grow up, but these memories and friendships will always be part of their story.

Pushbike friends today, friends for keeps tomorrow. 🥹
