Congrats 🏆 Justin Catam-isan

COT Day Spades unleash thunderous serve, strike Mixed Doubles badminton crown

Catam-isan and Montejo rode a relentless wave of momentum, dispatching COE Diamonds, 21–10, 21–12, to claim Mixed Doubles badminton gold on September 30.

COT Day Spades turned the court into their attacking ground, with Catam-isan and Casas relentlessly pressuring the Diamonds with sharp placements and explosive smashes. Their constant barrage kept COE Diamonds on the back foot as the Spades controlled the tempo and hammered the match toward its finish.

Catam-isan and Casas pointed to their aggressive shot selection and court coverage as the difference-maker in the title clash. By keeping their attacks sharp and moving as one, the Spades consistently found openings and converted them into crucial points.

COE Diamonds fell short of the gold but refused to let the final result define their campaign, battling through every rally until the last point. Their run ended with silver after reaching the championship clash.

COT Day Spades' Son mauls COE, etches his name atop Singles B Men's Badminton

In an anticipated final clash, COT Day Spades' Son emerged victorious after winning the Singles B Men's Badminton match with the score of 21-17, held today, September 30, at the Danao Civic Center.

COT imposed his will through explosive smashes and astute gameplay, steering the match in his favor to secure the crown, dedicating his triumph not to his own strength alone, but also to his faith.

“Akong performance dili ra para akoa, gi halad pud ni nako sa babaw,” Son expressed.

COE fought to keep up with his opponent's pace and precision, but COT's commanding performance on the court ultimately proved too much to overcome, bagging 21 points.

As the final shuttlecock hit the floor, Son emerged as the last man standing, completing a remarkable run to the championship, through grit, precision, and relentless attacking play, he proved himself worthy of the crown and left a lasting mark on the hardcourt.
