Skip a meal, and by the next one you're primed to overeat, especially carbs and anything fast to grab. It's a common trap. Skip breakfast to "save calories," then make it all back by dinner without realizing it.

Regular, steady meals, not skipped ones, are what keep appetite and energy predictable. Consistency beats restriction here.

You're not lazy, your plan just isn't built for the body you're trying to build.

A 2016 McMaster University study (Longland et al., Am J Clin Nutr) found that people who kept training with weights during a calorie deficit preserved lean muscle and lost fat, the training mattered as much as the deficit itself.
