AMPONGAN TAEKWONDO ACADEMY We are a Fun, Family-Friendly martial arts center with humble beginnings that offer diverse programs We are very proud of each and every one of our students.

In 2001, the Ampongan Taekwondo Academy was established by John Paul Ampongan who is a member of the Taekwondo Blackbelt Brotherhod, an elite core group of the Philippine Taekwondo Association which is responsible in the propagation and development Taekwondo in the Country. Since establishing ATA, our team has participated in numerous national and international tournaments winning various awards and medals. In 2012, ATA bagged a total of 90 medals - 17 golds, 22 silver and 51 bronze from competitions such as CPJ, WNCAA, Muntiparlas, Makati Pasay Taguig Taekwondo Championships, National Interschool, All Women’s and National Poomsae Championships. Recently our team bagged the 2014 WCSA Overall Championship Award and MVP Award. We strive to help our students to progress and reach their potential. The Academy also organizes yearly outreach and relief missions like in the recent wake of Yolanda Crisis. Throughout the years, all our students have improved and grown so much.

And that’s a wrap!

Our Summer Program is officially finished! From our 1st Awarding Ceremony last July to today’s 2nd Awarding Ceremony, we’ve seen our students take another step forward in their Taekwondo journey.

Congratulations to all our students and thank you to all our A.T.A. families for your continued support. We are very proud of what everyone has accomplished this summer! 👊

Now, it’s time for a new set of lessons, new goals, and new challenges.Let’s continue to learn and grow together.
