Nine months. Countless hours. One incredible journey. 🏀📚
After nine months of weekly online classes covering the history and science of basketball, the human body, different basketball systems, coaching methodologies, and so much more, I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of the 6th Generation of the EHCB Coaches Academy.
This experience was more than just learning the game. It was an opportunity to expand my understanding of basketball from different perspectives — on the court, in the classroom, through science, and through the experiences of coaches who have dedicated decades to this sport.
One of the greatest privileges was being able to virtually listen and interact with some of the top European coaches who have shaped and dominated basketball over the last 20–30 years. At times, I found myself simply in awe — listening, taking notes, asking questions, and appreciating how much there is still to learn.
I also had the opportunity to meet coaches from different parts of the world — winners, underdogs, rookies, veterans — all coming from different backgrounds but sharing the same goal: to continue learning and expanding our understanding of a sport that is constantly evolving.
Basketball never stops changing. And neither should we as coaches.
Thank you to the EuroLeague Head Coaches Board for creating and sustaining such an incredible advocacy through the Coaches Academy. Thank you for opening this space for coaches around the world to learn, connect, challenge our ideas, and continue growing.
