Nagmalampuson ug nagdala og dakong garbo sa Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte, ug sa tibuok nasud ang mga atletang Las Nievesnon human sila mihakot og mga medalya sa 24th Kyungmin University President's Cup International Taekwondo Championships nga gipahigayon kaniadtong Hulyo 3–5, 2026 sa Uijeongbu, Korea.

Si Cenhdy Janecah Micayabas, 17-anyos ug Grade 12 nga estudyante sa Lingayao National High School, nakasungkit og duha (2) ka Gold Medals, samtang ang iyang coach nga si Adrian De Leon nakadaog usab og usa (1) ka Bronze Medal isip representante sa Team Caraga ug sa Pilipinas.

Dako ang papel sa suporta sa Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Las Nieves, lakip ang BLGU Mat-i ug ang Kagamhanang Probinsyal sa Agusan del Norte, sa maong kalampusan.

Padayon nga gihatagan sa LGU og prayoridad ang pagpalambo sa programa sa isports aron mas daghang kabatan-onan ang makadawat og oportunidad nga mapalambo ang ilang talento ug makadala og dungog sa lungsod bisan sa internasyonal nga entablado.

Sa iyang pamahayag, gipadayag ni Coach ug Bronze Medalist Adrian De Leon ang iyang dakong pasalamat sa tanang mitabang sa ilang panaw ngadto sa Korea.

"Una sa tanan, among gipasalamatan ang Ginoo nga naghatag kanamo og kusog ug grasya. Daghang salamat usab sa among mga pamilya, kang PMSgt. Edgar Pantohan, sa Parents of PNPTA-Taekwondo Caraga, sa among mga coaches, sa Probinsya sa Agusan del Norte ubos sa pagpangulo ni Governor Angel Amante, ug ilabi na kang Mayor Karen Rosales nga wala gayud nagduha-duha sa paghatag og suporta aron mahimo kining among pag-apil sa international championship."

Ang kalampusan nilang Micayabas ug De Leon nagpamatuod nga ang kombinasyon sa dedikasyon sa mga atleta ug sa lig-on nga suporta sa komunidad ug gobyerno mahimong dalan aron makab-ot ang kalampusan sa internasyonal nga entablado.
