Three days after the Enlightened Warrior Training Camp in Malaysia, I had the chance to slow down and spend some quality time with one of our facilitators and a good friend.

After days of serving, long hours, powerful breakthroughs, and unforgettable moments at the camp, it was refreshing to simply sit down, share stories, laugh, and have a meaningful conversation outside the training environment.

Moments like this remind me that some of the greatest gifts we receive from serving are not only the lessons and breakthroughs, but also the relationships we build along the way.
And seeing my book in the hands of friends and Champions from different parts of the world will always be special to me.
When I wrote Close Like a Champion, my intention was never simply to teach people how to “close.”
I wanted to share the lessons I learned throughout my years in sales—the mistakes, rejections, breakthroughs, and conversations that taught me one important truth:

It’s about listening before speaking.

Building trust before asking for a decision.
And most importantly, serving before selling.
Because the greatest salespeople don’t just become better closers.
