We proudly salute Jeremiash and Clay Pord of the Mactan Mavericks for finishing strong in the intense CN100 Ultra Fun Run—a 104KM endurance challenge from Cebu City to Bogo, held last July 26–27, 2025! 🌃➡️🌅

Crossing the finish line among the Top 20, this marks their second time conquering the CN100—proving once again that true grit, preparation, and mental toughness define an ultrarunner. 💯🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️💪

TRAIL SCAM ALERT 🚨 | Pamutan “Chill Hike” – June 22, 2025

One runner got scammed into a “chill hike”… only to end up swimming creeks and roasting under the Pamutan sun like lechon. 🌊🔥

Six trailblazing Mavericks braved the Spartan trail — soaked, sunburned, gasping — but powered on thanks to humba, 4 seasons juice and extra rice at Amordino. 🧃🍖

Everyone came back smiling… except the scammed one. Still salty. Still betrayed. Never trusting “easy lang ni” again. 😂

🏃‍♂️ Mactan Mavericks are back on the road!

On June 15, 2025, eight proud members of the Mactan Mavericks Runner Club braved the challenge of the Lapu-Lapu Warrior 50KM Ultramarathon – Independence Day Run. The race kicked off at around 12:10 AM, and through grit, endurance, and solid brotherhood, all eight runners successfully crossed the finish line within the official cutoff time.

More than the accomplishment, the run was a celebration of unity and sportsmanship among Mavericks and fellow athletes. We’re proud to report that all runners completed the ultramarathon safe and injury-free—and most importantly, they enjoyed every kilometer of the journey.

This marks a strong comeback for the Mactan Mavericks as we continue to grow a culture of brotherhood and sports camaraderie here at BGBNEAB.

The Mactan Mavericks proudly celebrate a major win as Clifford Flores, claims victory at the recent Cebu North 160km Ultramarathon, held from October 25-27, 2024. The ultra-distance race tested every ounce of grit, beginning at Medellin, Cebu, at 8 PM, with 31 seasoned runners chasing the finish line in Bogo City.

With unrelenting stamina, our fellow Mavericks surged ahead, outpacing fierce competition and crossing the line first in an incredible official clock at 21 hours and 57 minutes, a time that speaks to the relentless spirit of the Mavericks.

Let’s lace up and cheer on our Maverick star, Clifford Flores, for leading the way in this marathon of endurance, proving that when it comes to long-haul challenges, the Mactan Mavericks set the pace!

We're thrilled to share that the Mactan Mavericks once again showcased their camaraderie and passion at the recent Hunat Sugbu: Dagan Para Maning 🏃🏃🏃held at Robinsons Galleria Cebu! Despite the rain, our team embraced the added challenge and had even more fun.

A huge thank you to the organizers for a well-executed event and to everyone who participated and supported the said event.

We're thrilled to share that our running group, the Mactan Mavericks, made an incredible debut at the recent AXEL RUN with the Heroes 2024 event! 🥳🎉

Held at the Brigadier General Benito N Ebuen Airbase, this run was more than just a race—it celebrated fitness, camaraderie, and heroism. Our team gave it their all, representing the spirit and determination of the Mavericks. 💪✨

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the event and to the Philippine Air Force for such a fantastic event. Here's to many more races and memories together!
