Vince is our first recipient of THE LOCAL BIKE SHOP (LBS) “Bike To Life” program. This is also in cooperation of bikers Aris Ferolino and Mike Fernan.

We met Vince in Sitio Tagnonok Salag, Tabogon Cebu on the way to Bogo during our Bikepacking Adventure. He was biking on a very small bike (Preschooler bike) with no brakes and just using his slippers to slowdown if needed. It was an unfamiliar place to us and our first time to explore the eastern coastal area in the northern part of Cebu. He helped us by showing the very challeging (abandoned rough road) shortcut route from Salag to Udlot Bogo City.
He is a grade 3 pupil at Salag Elementary School and second honor in his class. Raised well by his Lola Dioscora since his early age until now.
Bike is his way of mobility in in going to school since it’s quite of a distance from their house. And he deserves to have a road worthy one. Hopefully, this little help could encourage him to study harder and achieve his dreams in life!
