Taking on the role of race director was a huge privilege and responsibility. I proudly stepped up because of the incredible faith and trust you all placed in me, and that community support is what drove me to ensure we delivered a successful event.
First, my deepest gratitude goes to my running family, the Ifugao Haggiyo Trail Runners. You didn't just believe in me, you were the absolute core of this event. From planning to ex*****on, you worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make everything possible. I am incredibly blessed to have a team that is always ready to run the extra mile with me.
Next, a massive thank you to our local authorities, first responders, and local officials for ensuring everything ran smoothly from permits to pathways! Mayor Bam Lagawe MPS, Mobile Force, PDRRM, PHO, GSO and Red Cross. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our community active and safe. Alongside them, my heartfelt thanks to our amazing volunteer marshals who dedicated their time to assist and guide our runners out on the course with a smile.
To our amazing sponsors, thank you for your generosity. More than just financial aid, your genuine interest and belief in this vision are what truly made this run possible. Thank you for taking a chance on us.
Lastly, this event would mean nothing without the runners. Thank you to everyone who traveled from near and far, even outside of Ifugao, to join us. You didn't just run. You helped us promote health, wellness, and cultural sportsmanship during our beautiful Gotad celebration.
Above all, I praise the Lord for His guidance, perfect weather, and for keeping every single participant safe on the road and trails.
