What a night for Renden “Takeover” Oppas, representing La Trinidad, Benguet and Sadanga, Mountain Province.

Renden came into the fight as the WBC Australasia Silver Minimumweight Champion and tonight added the Gold title. He now holds both belts. 🏆🏆

Big love to our big bro Troy Kovacs, who played a huge part in making this fight happen. He put his own resources behind Renden and the team, helped make things happen, and stood by us all the way. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done for us, bro. ❤️

On August 29 in Ballarat, Australia, Renden “Takeover” Oppas will fight for the WBC Australasian Gold Minimumweight Title.

When we posted that no storm could stop Renden from getting into his best shape, that was just part of promoting the fight. But honestly, this has been one of his toughest training camps. The recent typhoons and heavy rains in the Cordillera made it difficult to get to the gym, train properly, and cut weight.

But while we were dealing with those challenges, we know many families were going through something much harder.

To everyone affected, this fight is for you.
