Here's my Plant Your Retirement concept. That is 3-5 years before one retires from his/her job Yun magtanim with intercrop, to wit:
Plant Sweetwater Coconuts
12m x 12m = 69 hills @ 3 seedlings/hill at 2m x 2m x 2m = 207 trees per hectare.
After 3 years start to harvest even with 200 trees @ 10 nuts/bunch/month/tree =
2000 nuts/month @ 30/pc = 60k/month or p720K/year
During gestating period of main crop I.e. SWC plant intercrops like Red Lady Papaya, Lakatan Banana and siling labuyo

I encourage those who are retiring in 3-5 years to PLANT YOUR RETIREMENT
So by the time you folks retire bunga at mag harvest na Yung main crop ninyo. Make this the Sweerwater Coconut for the fresh buko market. Intercrop it with Red Lady Papaya
a. SWC at 12m x 12m is 69 hills/ha at 3 seedlings/hill = 207 trees x 10 nuts/month = 2000 nuts/month @ PHP 30/nut
= 60K/month or php 720/year
B. RLP at 3m x 2m = 1,650 trees x 80k per tree is 130,000 kls @ PHP 10/k = 1.3M enough to subsidize the long term crops.
SWC starts to bear nuts by the 3rd Year
